The Boutique Bargain Bin Experience

In search of great deals in Peachland? The Peachland United Church Thrift Store, affectionately referred to as The Bargain Bin, offers an affordable and ethical shopping experience. Operating from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesday through Saturday, it provides the perfect avenue to find your next favourite item. With regular donations, there's always something new to explore.

Community Support

The Bargain Bin contributes to various charitable causes, sharing surplus donations with organizations like Diabetes Canada, the Gospel Mission in Westbank, and the Kelowna Women's Shelter. Your purchase supports the community and beyond. Items unsuitable for sale are distributed to numerous organizations. From providing reading glasses to third-world countries to reserving specific items for the homeless, the Bargain Bin's impact is far-reaching.

The store has assisted wildfire victims in Ft. McMurray and Litton, as well as individuals experiencing unforeseen hardships. Your purchase not only offers a great deal but also aids these endeavours.

Recycling and Reuse

Environmental awareness is central at the Bargain Bin. They sell metal to Planet Earth for recycling, provide vases to local florists at reduced rates, and save 100% cotton materials to be repurposed as cleaning cloths.

Excess children’s clothing is laundered by volunteers and vended to a Kelowna consignment store, ensuring minimal waste. By shopping here, you contribute to a more sustainable planet.
