Rose Show Highlights
The Sowers & Growers Rose Show is a community favourite. The event is open to the public, with admission by donation. The show will feature artwork from Peachland Elementary School, adding a creative touch from the young minds of our community.
Entries for the show are accepted from 7:30 to 9:15 AM, followed by judging. The doors open to the public at 11 AM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the floral displays before the trophies and ribbons are handed out at 3:30 PM. The show wraps up at 4 PM, so make sure to plan your visit accordingly.
Tea Party Experience
A tea party will be available at the event, offering a delightful way to enjoy the day. Imagine sipping tea surrounded by beautiful blooms and the lively community of Peachland. It’s a great way to relax and take in the beauty of the roses.
About Sowers & Growers
Sowers & Growers has been a cornerstone of the Peachland community since 1998. This organization is dedicated to improving local gardens and fostering a love for gardening among its members. Over the years, they have hosted a variety of events, including garden tours, tulip and sunflower festivals, and competitions.
In 2022, they celebrated the Year of Gardening with a “best garden” competition, showcasing the hard work and creativity of local gardeners. Sowers & Growers holds regular meetings, open to anyone interested in gardening. Meeting details are listed in the Peachland paper.
