Celebrate the return of the Kokanee salmon at the Kokanee Salmon Festival on August 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Hardy Falls Regional Park, where you can watch these vibrant fish in their spawning colours and get all your questions answered by RDCO Park interpreters with displays and guided walks along Deep Creek. Representatives from GoFishBC and WildSafeBC Central Okanagan will be present to provide more information, and there will be opportunities for creative activities. The Kokanee Salmon Festival offers a fantastic chance to learn about the salmon life cycle through information stations and storytelling.
