Peachland's Canada Day celebrations on Monday, July 1, offer a packed schedule of family-friendly events that promise a fun-filled day for everyone. Start the day with a pancake breakfast at the 50+ Centre from 8am to 11am, costing $10 for adults and $5 for kids aged 6-12. While there won't be a Beach Avenue run this year, visitors can enjoy delicious eats from Ciao Italian and Lobster Pot food trucks, and engage in activities like family games and sparkly tattoos. From 1pm to 8pm, Heritage Park will host a variety of attractions including a bouncy castle, face painting, and large family games. Entertainment kicks off with magician Leif David at 1pm, followed by a concert from Papa Thom & The Elderly Brothers from 1:45pm to 3pm. Swim Bay will be a chill spot from 2:30pm to 4pm, featuring freezies and t-shirt art at the gazebo. The parade runs from 4:30pm to 5:45pm from 13th Beach Ave to Heritage Park. The official welcome ceremony and cake cutting is at 6pm, followed by ABBA and Fleetwood Mac tribute bands from 6:30pm to 10pm. The day concludes with a spectacular fireworks display at Heritage Park at 10pm.
