Peachland’s annual Christmas Light Up is a can't-miss event that kicks off the festive season with a parade down Beach Avenue from the Art Gallery leading to Heritage Park where the community gathers for a countdown to the official lighting. The night is packed with fun activities including glitter tattoos, bouncy castle, visit with Santa, and live entertainment. Treats like hot dogs and hot chocolate are served up by donation thanks to the Lions Club, while a fireworks show lights up the sky at 6:30 pm. Before the main event, the Peachland Boys and Girls Club hosts a children's party with face painting, crafts and a sing-a-long, and the Art Gallery has an open house with refreshments. The Walking Glow Parade starts at 6 pm, leading to Heritage Park before the lights go on. Be prepared for some traffic disruptions on Beach Avenue from 5:45 to 6:30 pm, but it's worth it for this brilliant start to the festive season. Don’t miss out!
