The Peachland Classic Car Show is celebrating 25 years of showcasing pre-1980 classic cars, bringing together automotive enthusiasts from all over. This year’s event, on May 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., promises a display of over 250 stunning vehicles along Beach Avenue. Organized by the Peachland Chamber of Commerce with the help of community volunteers, the show features live music from The Part-timers, a 50/50 draw, various food trucks, and local restaurants open for the day. The event is family-friendly and free, though donations are welcome. At the end of the day, enjoy a parade of cars, trophies, and over 150 prizes, including a trip for two to Whitehorse. With limited spots for car entries, register soon for the $25 fee. Parking is available along Clements Avenue, near Peachland Elementary, and on surrounding streets, with a free shuttle from Peachland Village Mall. Beach Avenue will be closed between 1st and 6th streets, with Waldo Way turned into one-way traffic.
