Gather your family for a fun-filled evening at the Peachland Family Glow Run on September 29. Starting at Heritage Park, you can join a 5K or 3K run along Beach Ave, enjoying the scenic views. Check-in is from 6:15-7:00 pm, and the race kicks off at 7:15 pm. This event is all about fun, so wear your brightest clothes, grab some glow sticks, and get ready to light up the night. Kids 12 and under need an adult with them for the 5K run, while those aged 6-12 can run the 3K without an adult. Registration is open online, over the phone, or in person at the Peachland Community Centre, with prices ranging from $6 to $20 depending on age and registration date. Don't forget to complete the required waivers and informed consent forms in advance. The route takes you along the lakeside of Beach Ave, making a U-turn at 12th St and heading back to Heritage Park. The evening also features free games, face painting, popcorn, a photo station, dance music, and a special performance by the Kinshira Fire Dancers at 8:15 pm.
