Quilts by the Beach is an exhibition featuring a diverse collection of quilts and fibre arts, including traditional, modern, and art quilts. Visitors can explore the Merchant Market for quilting-related merchandise, enjoy a light lunch in the tearoom, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. The Guild will award a Quilt of Valour to a deserving veteran and raffle another quilt during the event. The exhibition supports various organizations by donating quilts to the Women’s Shelter, the Neonatal Unit at Kelowna General Hospital, the Salvation Army, and victims of natural disasters. Quilts by the Beach takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 7, and Saturday, June 8, at the Peachland Community Centre (4460 6th Street). Admission is $10.
